Social sharing issues

There is no image of listing when I share listing page via Facebook or open PDF flyer, why?

Please check if your images have titles without spaces. Use underscore [ _ ] instead of space to avoid issues with PDF or Facebook features.

Can I use Trendy Theme without plugin?

No, as Trendy Theme is developed and designed together with the Estatik Pro. If you install theme separately you will not have all features that you can see on demo.

Does it work with any WP theme?

We didn’t test it with all WordPress themes that are available in the Internet but we did test it with many themes developed under WordPress quidelines and can confirm that the plugin and its widgets will work smoothly on them.

Listings

PDF is not working

If you click on PDF button and it says that file is corrupted or opens nothing, please make sure that you have pdf lib installed at your host provider and php version is 5.3.x and higher.

404 Error: Page not found

Please go to Settings >> Permalinks and click Save button there. After go to site and view result.

Widgets

Search is not working.

Please make sure that you have created a page with shortcode [es_search] and assigned Search page to it in Estatik Search widget settings:

Agents

Listings not published

If agents have added properties, they will be not published at once. Listings will stay unpublished until Admin who receives email with the link to the listings, will approve and publish it.

How can I add new features to the plugin?

The source code is open and you can customize it according to your requirements, of course if you have enough knowledge and skills.

How can I update the plugin after customization?

If you have customized the plugin slightly, e.g. changed css a little or made some slight code change, you can update BUT before that please make backup to save the changes you have. After the update was done, transfer the changes to new version.

If you have customized the plugin greatly, i.e. added new features which can conflict with new code of the released version, we wouldn’t recommend to update the plugin. The only way to add new features/fixes to new version is to repeat customization process on the new version.

However you can still use the new version on multiple other websites.
